Studio Bomba — Leederville Makeover

Many years ago, our good pals at Studio Bomba caught wind of a new space opening up just down the road in Leederville. The space came with the addition of a coffee shop, a larger retail opportunity, and an area perfect for a studio. Instead of Bomba using the area for just their own design studio, they made the decision to open it up into a share space, with a collective of independent creatives operating out of there.

With so many new things happening, it was imperative to redefine the well established Bomba identity and step away from the cuter past. Something to match the new mid-century digs Leederville digs, and the industrious bunch of creatives working there.

A new visual identity was created with a suite of sub-brands to represent the different offerings of the business. Hand lettered typography was developed, and then hand painted across signage throughout the venue by Marcus & his pal Jarrad.

A hoot was had by all.
